Looking to hire Baker

Description:

Our baker will be responsible for producing fresh breads and pastries daily as part of our farm-to-table menus. They will handle our onsite brick oven and convection ovens. The candidate must support kitchen staff in preparing menus for events and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all baked goods required for daily menu 
  • Support kitchen in execution of event menus 
  • Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders and other equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workplace.
  • Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.

Required:

  • 3+ years in a professional cooking setting 
  • Commitment to personal health and passion for cooking, nutrition and sustainability. 
  • Stong coordination and collaboration skills.
  • Friendliness, approachability and enthusiasm for working with other people.
