Looking to hire Baker
Description:
Our baker will be responsible for producing fresh breads and pastries daily as part of our farm-to-table menus. They will handle our onsite brick oven and convection ovens. The candidate must support kitchen staff in preparing menus for events and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all baked goods required for daily menu
- Support kitchen in execution of event menus
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workplace.
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
Required:
- 3+ years in a professional cooking setting
- Commitment to personal health and passion for cooking, nutrition and sustainability.
- Stong coordination and collaboration skills.
- Friendliness, approachability and enthusiasm for working with other people.
