Key Requirements:
- Having valid UAE driving licence or convertible
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills in English
- Systematic, well organised and can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Basic Computer skills
- Experience in the supervision of DE-watering field is an advantage
- Resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to work unsupervised in often difficult site conditions.
- Excellent delegation skills to lead several teams of dewatering crews, multi-tasking
- Communicates effectively to Clients
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in related field
- Must have College Certificate / Diploma in Associate Engineering/ Or any relevant experience or training
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Project Operations:
- Manage and oversee the day to day site operations for multiple projects, simultaneously.
- Responsible for the day-to-day resource deployment and communicate these to site employees via daily work schedules.
- Upon project handover you will understand project requirements and method statement and ensure all work activities carried out are in accordance with the project specifications. Any variances to be reported to the Line Manager prior to execution.
- Provide the following information’s helpful for the site documentation for all projects: System Installation, Start, Damage, Stop, Site Progress, water level draw down details and Employee Attendance records.
- Coordinate with Yard/ Site Mechanic regarding equipment maintenance and breakdowns on site.
- Perform daily site inspections and equipment functionality to ensure a safe, timely and resource efficient operation.
- Diligently execute works assigned for resources on site and establish efficient means to optimize utilization and minimize overtime and other costs.
- Ensure site issues are resolved, either directly or by escalating to the Engineer.
- Ensure compliance to all legal and regulatory laws including QHSE standards and reviews site conditions for safety and quality driven environment.
- Maintain good working relationship with all parties at all levels at all times when representing the Company, Sub-Contractors, Staff and third parties.
QHSE
- Make a deliberate effort to gain a full understanding and working knowledge of the QHSE policies and procedure and adherence to the same.
- Ensure safety targets and a zero tolerance for unsafe working practices and conditions.
- Ensure any requests to perform unsafe work practices that may result in damage to machinery, people or property are declined.
- Notify the QHSE /Safety Officer regarding any unsafe or potentially hazardous situations on site.
- Prior to the commencement of site works, gain an understanding of the relevant project specifications and requirements.
- On an ongoing basis, monitor all works against specifications to ensure the quality and accuracy of work performed meets standard.
- Notify the Line Manager of any defects, mistakes, errors, contamination or variations identified.
